Did you know that approximately 80% of all business started will stay small, with one to four employees? These are great businesses and America needs them all to succeed, especially for those people who want or need the independence to raise their family, or to gain a little extra money each month, or just want more control over their destiny.
If all you want to do is start a three to five person company, do you need a two-inch business plan? Absolutely not, you need a plan that fits you and your business, not the academic requirements of some organization that never started a business. You can purchase one of our books, or attend a class, it is your choice.
To help answer the question, Should I Start a Business, we have a two-hour class called, “Intro to Business”. It walks you through the process of answering some difficult questions about yourself and your financial strength and provides a budget you can develop to determine if now is the best time to start your business. For only two hours of your time, and $50.00 you can answer this important, first question.
If, after you complete this first class you decide, yes, I want to do this, you can take the second class called, “Business Feasibility”. This class digs into the social/business skills you bring to your business and helps you determine if they are sufficient for success. It then addresses the marketing information you will need to help determine the viability of your business idea, and helps you understand and project the money necessary to get started properly. For only four hours of your time, and $150.00 you can answer this important, second question.
If the Business Feasibility results show you should proceed with a business then you have one of two paths to follow:
You can purchase a book called “How To Start A Business In Colorado” , or whatever state you reside, (available here online or at a local bookstore)
You can proceed onto the next phase of building your business and start on a business plan
The choice is yours.
If your desire is to build a small business and hire one or two people then buy the book, get a little advice from us and get started.
If your desire is to build a larger business that will ultimately hire several people or operate in more than one area then you should consider taking the next course “Business Planning”. This course includes the software you need to build a business plan, plus three hours of one-to-one coaching from a business expert. The class only lasts four hours, you get the software, and the three hours of coaching for only $250.00. You can also just purchase our Business Plan PRO software if you would rather, and again, it is your choice.
